The Symbiote explores the twisted dark side of fun power fantasies where someone ordinary is made great because of the presence of something fantastic. It plays with the nature of codependency while also looking at the losses felt by those pushed to excel. If you’re expected to be the very best, like no one ever was, before twenty five, were you ever able to experience what it’s like to be a child?
